  I'm not usually the type that writes reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one because of my experience with Portland Mattress Makers. First of all, my track record is, that I hate shopping for anything. So, you can imagine how excited I was when my wife asked me to go with her...We went to all, and I mean, ALL of the same mattress stores you see on TV, highway signs, and the stores themselves as you travel bye. I'm not going to mention names because I don't play that game. When I first walked into Portland Mattress Makers, I was surprised at how comfortable and refreshed I felt because of the atmosphere in the Portsmouth, NH store. None of the other experiences were as pleasant. I felt how that the staff there understood my needs. I didn't feel like I was even shopping. Most of all I got more mattress for my money. A much better value. It was awesome. If your even considering purchasing an item that you spend 1/3rd of your life on, go to Portland Mattress Makers on Lafayette rd Portsmouth, NH., and enjoy the experience for yourself. Fred S.
