  Needed a charger for my Nikon D-70 ---- He sold me a piece of cheap import garbage for $69.95 that did not work. Unfortunately I was cruising and couldn't return it. B&H sells the Nikon original for $42 --- the guy is a rip off. . . and I sure missed a lot of nice shots while sailing in Maine -- In regards to their response - I had my camera with me - they looked at the battery - and still sold me this piece of junk. It fit the battery fine it just didn't work.. I felt like I got the bums rush when I was in the store, like all they wanted to do was make the sale and get me out of the store. . . terrible service and now (their response) saying that they remember the sale four years later… shows what kind of character they have.

  What a great guy! I travelled two hours to bring him my camera to fix - and found the entire store dark and completely dismantled - but Pierre emerged from the mess to tell me the store is in the process of moving. However, he took a look at my camera - and fixed it in about a minute.

  Pierre's is terrific... I've had a number of great experiences. For one, I bought a used MacBook Pro from Pierre over a year ago. The price was very fair, the computer was in like-new condition, and has performed flawlessly under heavy daily use. Pierre's also helped me revive a much-beloved but long-defunct iPod, and has lent me tools in the past... he has things in inventory that no one else has, and he is ready to help whenever he can. It is great to have him as a resource right in the heart of the Old Port.
